The location of the hostel was absolutely stunning, with beautiful views of the lake. The value for money was also great, considering how expensive Switzerland can be. I loved that there was a guest kitchen available, so we could cook our own meals from food bought at the supermarket. Additionally, the free parking was a big convenience.

The cleanliness of the linens was not up to par, which was a bit disappointing. Also, the sound insulation in the wooden hostel wasn't the best, so if you're a light sleeper, you might have a problem with noise from neighboring rooms.

We loved the stunning lake view, cozy atmosphere, and helpful staff. The communal kitchen was well-equipped and we enjoyed cooking together. The outdoor dining area by the lake was a highlight. Free bus and cruiser passes were a bonus for exploring the area.

This hostel offers a peaceful stay right next to Lake Brienz in a small and beautiful village. The view is out of this world and the location is perfect for exploring the area. The staff is friendly and helpful and the facilities, including clean bathrooms, well-equipped kitchen, and dining area, are top-notch. There are also opportunities to mingle with international friends and enjoy the mesmerizing view when you wake up.
